Our research activities
Leading-edge research activities carried out by the whole corporate group, plus research activities that will satisfy the needs of medical facilities and local communities ― utilizing our advantage as a medical university, we are actively engaged in those activities with a goal of contributing to better health of the people.
At Hyogo University of Health Sciences, we are engaged in creative and advanced research and development activities in the fields of pharmacy and medical care, based on our advantages as a medical university, while fully utilizing the research and education staff, facilities and equipment of Hyogo College of Medicine and other organizations in the same corporate group. Our objective is to apply the outcomes of such activities to treatment and prevention of diseases in actual medical care.
In our campus, we have a facility named “Advanced Medical and Pharmaceutical Research Center,” to promote joint research projects in collaboration with Hyogo College of Medicine. Within the facility, project teams including the staff from the College conduct leading-edge research activities in such areas as new drug development and gene therapy. In addition, in our school laboratories, faculty members with rich hands-on experience conduct practical researches aiming to satisfy the needs of medical facilities and local communities. Achievements of their work have been utilized widely for disease prevention as well as for medical support and care. Based on what we have achieved so far, we are determined to further promote our research activities with a goal of contributing to better health of the people.
